this is it guys! our final day before the holiday takes place. by tomorrow morning we'll start libur lebaran. so plan your holiday and take this chance to take a breath among your daily routine. we are about to do some data back up today. users had been notified that all services will still be available during day off, so don't worry and no need to contact us.

everybody talks about their mudik planning and where you can find nice places to dine in. no one talks about work. ah i can smell the holiday. the most exciting part of vacation is the preparation phase, like a wise always said.

it is 7:30 am in the morning and i'm sleepy.... does anyone get an idea to help me stay awake till the office hour end? i really miss my pillow this time.

satu dari banyak hal yang saya benci dari orang indonesia adalah tidak mau antri. doyannya menyerobot. herannya kebiasaan orang-orang liar dan tidak berpendidikan ini tetap dipelihara sampai sekarang dan tetap dijalankan dimana saja kapan saja.


waktu antri di kasir indomaret, seorang ibu-ibu menyerobot barisan sembari menyodorkan dua buah item. spontan saya colek bahunya sembari berkata dengan nada agak gusar, "silahkan antri di belakang, bu!" dan si ibu-ibu kurang ajar itu bergerak ke ujung barisan sembari tersipu.


waktu antri beli ayam goreng di counter KFC yang perjuangan untuk sampai ke depan mbak kasir yang manis sudah makan waktu 20 menit sendiri, tiba-tiba dari samping seorang ibu-ibu (lagi) menyergap masuk dan dengan lantang berseru, "mbak nasi satu". akibatnya jiwa keadilan saya terusik dan dengan tak kalah sigapnya, saya melotot sewot sembari berkata keras, "antri bu!!"
konyolnya musuh saya itu tanpa perasaan berdosa dan berpikir dirinya lebih penting dari para nabi, mengajukan alasan, "enggak, ini buat anak saya."
dan spontan saya membalas, "sama saya juga! tapi saya antri. bukan jumlah itemnya yang penting, tapi hargai orang lain! silahkan antri di belakang."
biar komplit, habis berbicara, saya geser tubuh sedikit biar dia terhalang sekalian tangannya yang sudah terjulur ke depan saya sikut. bagusnya si mbak kasir masih punya pikiran waras dan tidak mempedulikan ibu-ibu tai kebo yang main serobot itu


waktu check-in di counter, seorang laki-laki kurus penampilan lusuh seperti mahasiswa yang belum mandi berdiri tepat di samping meja counter dengan tangan kanan memegang tiket. dari sudut mata saya beri dia tatapan pedas sambil menebak, ini orang pasti mau nyerobot. saat itu juga saya menerapkan siaga satu, koper diangkat dan kaki siap mengayun. jika lawan nekat menerobos maka pada kesempatan pertama saya banting kopor di kaki dia -sekali lagi: di kaki dia - sambil tangan menyikut ke samping. tak ketinggalan untaian kata mutiara juga sudah disiapkan. pendeknya, siap tempur. untung saja petugas counter cukup aware atas situasi di depan dan dia mempersilahkan si pemuda kampret itu masuk barisan.


mungkin cuma di atm orang mau antri tapi saya masih suka sebal jika orang di belakang melongok-longok ke depan selagi saya melakukan transaksi. ngapain sih? andai ada duitnya pun saya enggak bakal bagi situ koq. guoblok. saking sebalnya saya pernah sampai harus menyuruh mundur seorang gadis seksi yang begitu nafsunya melongok ke layar atm sampai jinjit segala. haiyaaa, apa mesin yang saya lagi pijit-pijit ini pacar situ? koq segitu cemburunya?

i believe many people agree that perhaps -once again, perhaps- sby is the best president we ever had. the problem is the people around him especially that greedy shit jk. golkar never changes after all. some call sby the lonely president and i guess it is true. somehow i feel that he does have good will but his hands are tied up, his mouth is sealed and he is lack of courage. he has no lion heart to break the wall surround him.


it is believed that it is jk and the gank, the architect of that damn high fuel hike, it is them, who proposed a number of new taxes which will be applied on sms, internet bandwith and many more. they try to take as much as they can before they're running out of time.


so i guess to sby, the question is not about do people still believe in you but how much trust you have in your people. a man without courage is nothing.

it is less than ten office day before the holiday takes place and the spirit of work slowly running down. i can feel it. most people are busy arranging their mudik schedule or contacting their travel agent for reservation instead of taking care of their daily job. i think i better find good book or good movie to acompany me during those boring-do-nothing-but-sleep-fasting days left.

it was started with it for a almost a year before upgrading to 3 series. i know it was a downgrade to move from 5 to 3, however at that time the N3110
is the only one that fit into my requirements. small, long sms, a little bit rich of organizer feature, better keypad and has inner antenna. yeah, i hate that tall-long N5110 outer antenna. feels like a spear in my pocket.


after about five years in service, it is time to a successor. one big drawback of N3310 is its lack of data exchange feature . no ird, no bluetooth, no usb port, no media storage. nothing. i say that today, it is important for a device to be able to communicate with the other. if not then you are in trouble. therefore this baby comes in place.



it is clamshell, 3G, complete data exchange features, has media storage, coming from a very well known vendor and not a nokia or korean brand. *last points are very personal and a matter of taste, so don't argue!!!* i consider its camera as a bonus. if i wanna to take a picture, i prefer digi cam instead. it can sms, mms, e-mail, browsing, play midi/mp3/video, act as modem, bold, italic, underline, strike text format and some other features that i haven't discover yet. i have a strong feeling that i'll have fun with this baby.

ada kisah tentang seorang ibu rumah tangga yang memenangkan hadiah mobil melalui program promosi kartu kredit miliknya. lucunya, si ibu ini bukan tipe orang yang doyan gesek CC di kasir. CC miliknya itu meskipun sudah lama dipegang belum pernah dipakai kecuali sekali, yaitu ketika membantu biaya operasi tetangganya yang sakit. i guess the statement that god never sleeps is true.

one problem become an IT is when to deal with unresourcesful user. you see, a computer is not just a machine. it communicates with us. it shows message or asks for confirmation if something happens. but the fact is; most users do not care and have no intention to learn. if a message box coming up they dial IT dept phone number. if they e-mail failed they call IT for help.


in most cases the problem is simple and the error raised just because they do not follow or read the guidelines. e-mail failed because its size was exceed the maximum limit. your MS Outlook can't receive e-mail because you cancel the login screen (that's it: you MUST logon to domain if you want to pull down your mails) and you WILL NOT save your work if you hit cancel instead of OK. *that ancient creature from pre-history age! thanks god he already out*


all i want to say is READ THE MESSAGE. read it stupid. you don't have to become a MCSE or CCIE to understand the meaning of "fail to sent your mail because the size is too big". i'm talking about how to educate user and sadly, not every one can be educated.
