do you believe in thing that called "azab"? in short, it is kinda of chatisement from Above for our sins. well i do. i have seen. many many times. usually it comes when our young ages had left us and we are weak and frail and we need somebody else's help to take care of us. and by the time we realize, it's already too late yet we notice there's no much time left for us.


if i meet a moslem then the first thing in my mind is "bagaimana shalatmu?". i know some people who don't really care, puh.. puh.. it doesn't matter, i can do it another time. there's still tomorrow after all. i choose to say silent and wonder what do they like when their time has arrived. sometimes i hope that i can be there and say "told you so".

weekend news to share

saturday: finnally, i got this baby in hand. though i should spent so much rupiahs to reach it, and decrease my account's value. thinking that it have to pass several months to earn that such amount. well.. we'll see later wether this stuff will be helpfull for me optimally.


another news at saturday night that VERI finnaly reach the top score for AFI. i'm not speaking about him personally, but the way this person achieving one of his dream was great. besides, with avanza car in hand by about three months 'hard working', that's sound amazing. who doesn't want to be so lucky like that?


sunday: the gathering was succesful enough, at least in my opinion. about 20 friends of this cozy place was there, talking, laughing and lunch. such as little reunion since the last gathering was about 2 weeks after iedul fitri. beside, some other friends who kinda missing for a long time finnaly showed up yesterday. of course, this mom too. despite that she come so late, at least she didn't miss the photo session with others. right, mom?

doooh... prasaan tiap hari hampir pasti gue yang selalu datang paling pagi and absenin sebagian yang lain, eh.. kok ini bisa-bisanya gue keitung datang terlambat 1 kali. gak adil!! yang dateng telat aja suka gak tau diri udah diabsenin, ini giliran gue agak telat dikit *mungkin pas gue abis dari jogja kmr* malah lupa/enggak(?) diabsenin!! awas aja, entar gue gak mau peduli-peduli banget buat ngabsenin mereka lagi! dudul!! pagi-pagi dah bikin bete'... huh.

now about bulbul, i read many comments complaining about how this nick name becomes common. it should be unique. should be private. should be something special that only a few people know about it or even further, using it. but even i can't claim that name for me my self. it is sweet, short and simple. a little funny also. therefore many love it.


there are legends surrounding that name. each with many variant. and they give more mystical credit point to it. it's still sound better however than 'honey' or 'sweetheart' or 'darling'. it's not our culture to call the person we love using those three call sign. that's not mean that the bulbul call sign is our culture as well but it feels more down to earth instead of the first three.


however, a name can be used by thousand people but to us it always has one meaning. a meaning that only this heart can understand and feel the beauty of it. and the love that surrounding it.

About BULBUL

today, i just realized that name "bulbul" is so familiar and well-known to used. well, kalo gak mo dibilang pasaran, yah at least this nick is funny enough to use. hasil obrol-obrolan ama si ibu taksi merah ini, ketahuan deh kalo ada juga yang make nama ini as her romantic nickname. malah, sempat complain segala soalna ada yang nyamain. then, while i dropped by at this guy's corner, i also found that 'bulbul' were used there, thought just as supporting-actress at one of his stories


have i ever posted sumthin' about that bulbul actually is a kind of bird? its not as big as a hawk, indeed. but the truth that its a really nice kind of bird and the little story i heard about, make me interested much to love this word. also, how the pronounciation of this word seemed so funny to me. bul bul .. bul bul.., despite that the real bulbul now is just lying down on his bed againt his sickness, truly i know how much i really loved this name

three days weekend

the last weekend gone quite smooth. at least we were happy together thought not spent it out of town and with too much cost. well, the below is some part of them:


saturday: akhirnya jadi juga ke jcc, liat-liat mega bazaar computer dan electronic show. sempat miss understanding sedikit ama bulbul, soalnya meeting pointnya gak nyambung. gue tunggu di pasaraya. dia malah nongrong di blok m plaza. but the rest run smooth. akhirnya liat" pameran kompie dan sedikit berburu yang namanya gratisan. mayan. dapat tas daur ulang dan beberapa magazine yg not so out-of-date. makan siang di bakso lapangan tembak. sebenarnya disini mo survei lagi harga-harga desknote ato laptop second. meski harganya lebih murah dari harga resmi, tapi gw blum mutusin untuk beli disini.


sunday: we decided to spent it just at "home". nonton vcd The Ring (western version) dan Freaky Friday. unfortunately, si bulbul agak gak enak badan. jadi baringan aja sambil nonton. badannya agak panas gitu, and gue takut tambah parah. jadinya sempat nyesel juga maksa dia dateng n kecian liat dia gak 'berdaya' gitu. well, get well soon, hunih..


monday: siang ini maen ke TA. sebenarnya bukan main, tapi janjian ketemu sama teman kuliah. so, akhirnya kita berempat ketemu disana, and took lunch at Thai Express. well, the taste is not so bad. lumayan juga reuni and bisa cerita-cerita lagi ama teman-teman lama masa kuliah dulu. satu diantaranya udah merit dan punya anak umur 1,5 tahun, tapi sayang gak dibawa. 4.30-an pm kita dah pada pamitan and akhirnya gue nyampe rumah pas magrib karna nunggu bisnya mayan lama.

aduuh... prasaan pipi kok makin tembem yaa..
padahal pola makan kayaknya biasa aja deh. malah pagi biasanya gak sarapan sebelum brangkat. sampe kantor baru deh pesen indomie goreng. makan siang juga biasa aja sih.. cuman mm ini kali yah penyebabnya? di kantor tuh cemilan suka banyak. ada aja makanan" kecil. mulai dari gorengan atau snack" sisa-sisa rapat. trus, selain itu juga kadang bos n staf satu divisi suka ngadaian keluar makan bareng. dibayarin tentunya. entah itu ke resto padang, buffet resto, sampe resto seafood ala manado. pokoknya makanan tuh gak henti-hentinya datang. lha.. gimana mo ngurangin makan kalo godaannya seberat ini.. heu heu he..

a bast*rd stole my nice sweet silver umbrella. i called it stolen coz he/she borrowed it without asking me first. i never expected that there are so many thieves in this office. shit. i might need to replace it with a new one and i'm thinking about a smaller -still silver- compact size. yeah an umbrella only cost Rp 15.000, - but without it you'll be wet under the rain and you can get cold later and a doctor will cost Rp 50.000,- or more. so bring it back to me u sann*bitch.

how many times i should say that if you wanna report an error then make it DETAIL. detail, detail dodol. do not say "pak, programnya error" coz it doesn't help anything. but instead describe it what the message is, when was the problem occur and on what action.


and be subjective idiot. do not report "programnya gak bisa dibuka" while the actual problem is a specific report can't be opened.


would it be nice if the report is fully describe like this, "pak tadi waktu saya mo buka report anu muncul pesan kalo anunya gak bisa dibuka terus mousenya jalan-jalan sendiri terus monitornya ngedip-ngedip lalu terakhir komputernya meledak. yang tinggal sekarang cuma keyboardnya aja. saya mesti ngapain?"

one advantage from having a good friend is like this.
other division of my direktorat held a book launching at Borubudur. so, instead of going home and along that so damn-traffic jam along the way to destination, i finnaly took a rest at one of a 750 thousand rp-deluxe room there. we, three girls, in one two bed *united to be one* room along the night with talking and some gossips, of course. well, at least i didn't have to wake up so early this morning and can enjoy the time goes by more relaxable *ada gak sih kata ini?* besides, it just 5 minutes away walking to the office.

somebody asked me to teach him how to use microsoft access. he wants to create a small local database to help him manage his files. now the big question for me is how do i do that?


to use a tool such ms access, first you need to understand the database concept. so i have to teach him it first.
in database concept there are rules about do and don't. and i have to tell him as well.
there also term and definition like field, length of field, default value and so on. and i have to teach him also.
finally the data must be able to be extracted into a more familiar format like excel and i have to show him the way.


okay, i 'm opening a ms access short course now. the fee is only Rp 300.000.000,- for three hours class. how nice isn't it? so affordable.
